2005北欧旅行記vol.2
Hotel Birger Jarlにチェックイン。予約は、私の怪しい英語でのやりとりだったため不安でしたが、ちゃんと予約できていたようです。ワクワクしながら、709号室へ。
トマス・サンデルがデザインした709号室は、『Miss Dottie』と名前がつけられ、キュートな壁紙にまず目がいきます。部屋の家具からキャンドルホルダーまで彼のデザインで、壁にはデザインのラフスケッチが飾られています。ウェルカムフルーツは10gruppenのお皿に盛られ、デザイン雑誌はgranitのバックに入っているし、部屋の中に置いてある立派なデザイン本は自由に読むことができます。浴室にはアルテックのスツールもあるし。うーむ、さすがはデザイナーズルーム。部屋は、思ったよりこじんまりしていましたが。そうそう、部屋には各部屋からインスパイアされて作られた曲がおさめられているCD『Miss Dottie』も自由に聞けて、体中でデザインを満喫です。（このCD、ホテルで売っているので、最後購入してきました）
さて、一通り部屋のチェックを終えた後、ホテル周辺の散策へ。まずは、最寄り駅マックにて、コーヒーを購入。リンドベリデザインのコーヒーカップ「Adam」、初ゲットの瞬間です（笑）。その後、スーパーCoop Konsum発見。Coop Konsumは、エコ商品に力を入れているスーパーです。もちろん、オリジナル商品のパッケージもとっても可愛い♪楽しくて、疲れを忘れてあれこれ探索しちゃいました。ここで、パスタサラダがとても美味しそうだったので、本日の夕飯は買ってホテルで食べることに。さすがに、疲れて速攻寝てしまいました。
5月1日。
この日は、メーデーで祭日。したがって、お目当てのアンティークショップ等は軒並み休み。まずは、スウェーデンハウスで、バス＆メトロカードを購入、ストックホルムには、美術館などの割引+バス・地下鉄乗り放題のストックホルムカードというものがありますが、72時間のものを購入すると結構高い。（24時間で220skrくらいだった気がします）美術館もどれだけ行けるか分からないので、72時間で180skr(1skr=約15円）のバスと地下鉄が乗り放題のバス＆メトロカードを選びました。ちなみに、このカードを見せると、スカンセン野外博物館の入場料が半額になります。
さっそく購入したカードを使って、まずは屋内型蚤の市「Loppmarknaden I skarholmen」（通称LOPPISロッピス）へ。ロッピスは、ストックホルム中心地から地下鉄で15分ほどのskarholmen駅降りてすぐのショッピングセンターの広場にあります。IKEAの近くです。平日は入場料無料、土日は10skrかかります。わたしたちも、入場料を払って中へ。さっそく、入り口からお宝発見！Bersaのお皿をはじめ、グスタフベリ・ARABIA・iitalaなどいろいろあります。もちろん、フリマなので、古着や家庭の不要品もたくさん。地元の人たちに混じって、見て回ります。いろいろありましたが、残念ながら「これは」という一品には出会えず。でも、状態のいいアンティークはたくさんありました。いま思えば、いろいろ買ってくれば良かったなぁ。。。せっかくなので、お昼を中にあるファーストフードで食べてみることに。言葉がなかなか通じず苦労しましたが、お店の人が「どこから来たの？」とかいろいろ話しかけてきてくれて、ちょっと楽しい♪でも、日本人がなにしにここまできたんだろうなぁ〜と思われたのは間違いないハズ（笑）特に収穫無く、ちょっと期待はずれでしたが、しかし、ここに来たのは無駄ではありませんでした。念のため、最寄りのマックへ寄ってみるとBersaのカップ発見！！うれしくて、2つも頼んでしまいました。
その後、ガムラスタンへ移動。5年ぶりのガムラスタンは、全然変わっていませんでした。前回泊まったホテルの前を通って、懐かしさいっぱい。ちなみに、メーデーだけあって、大聖堂の前や、大通りでデモや集会やっていました。お土産屋さん以外は、もちろんショップはclose。とりあえず、明日からの買い物に備えるために、アンティークショップの下見をし、歩きながら中央駅方面へ。祝日で日曜日ということで、やっていないお店はありましたが、Design TorgetやスーパーHemkop（ヘムショップ）は営業していました。デザイントリエでは、日本ブームなのか、寿司の本や南部鉄瓶などが売っていました。(写真・左）おしゃれなスーパー、ヘムショップのオリジナル商品は、モノクロパッケージが目印。写真は、洗濯石けんのパッケージ。（写真・右）かわいい！！もちろん、ここでは時間をかけてお買い物。ホント、おしゃれなスーパーで、丸ごとお持ち帰りしたいくらいでした。
荷物を置きに、一度ホテルに戻り、早めの夕飯を食べることに。Stockholmdiaryで紹介されていた「113 50 CAFE & DELI」がホテルの最寄り駅近くにあったので、ここでパスタサラダをいただきました。噂通り、美味しい上にボリューム満点！というか、とても食べきれない量。地元の人もだれひとり食べきれていない様子（笑）。値段もお手頃だし、おしゃれだし、近くまで来ることがあれば、オススメのカフェです。
さて、お腹もいっぱいになったところで、森の斎場へ。
