先日、フリマに行ったら、ダンナがとんでもないものを発見。なんと、BANG&OLUFSENのイヤホンが売りに出されていました！定価の半額のところ、交渉してかなりのお値打ち価格にしていただきました。箱・レザーケース・説明書も揃っていたので、かなりお買い得だったでしょう♪箱のロゴもかわいいし、イヤホンにもちゃんとちっちゃくロゴがはいっていて、マニアにはうれしい限り。これで、我が家のiPodの新しいイヤホン決定。（といっても、普段はもっぱら車で使っているので、イヤホンの出番は少ないのだが。。。苦笑）そして、初BANG&OLUFSENの製品です。
BANG&OLUFSENについてちょっと説明。1925年に創立されたデンマークのオーディオ・ビジュアル製品総合メーカー。人間重視の一貫したポリシーのもとに、品質、デザイン、創造性に優れた家庭用のミュージックシステムと電話機を作り続け、その製品は世界中で愛用されています。（HPより抜粋）音楽好き、北欧好き、デザイン好きの方なら、一度は耳にしたことのある名前。我が家も、宝くじが当たったら、ぜひオーディオシステム一式買いそろえたいと思っています。
A8というこのイヤホンは、バング＆オルフセンの優れたオーディオ性能を備えることはもとより、デザインも人間工学に基づいてなされているという優れもの。わずか16ｇの本体は、耳の形と大きさに合わせて簡単に調整ができます。とはいえ、慣れるまでは装着が難しいけど。でもちゃんと装着できると、耳への負担が軽くて、音質も素晴らしい！（らしい。ダンナ曰く。私には、いいような気がする程度です。すみません。。。聞く音楽によるみたい。）
余談ですが、昨年、ヘルシンキへ行ったとき、カンプギャラリーにバング＆オルフセンのショップがありました。分厚いカタログがあって、（紙コレクターのダンナが）手に入れたかったのですが、なかなか営業時間にショップまでたどり着けず手に入れずじまい。今年も、要チェックのショップです。（ちなみに、日本語版は、本日イルムスにてゲット！）

The Zune is focused on like a Portable Media Player. An excellent internet browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do better yet in those areas, but for now it is a fantastic way to organize and tune in to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your most suitable option.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
