私的北欧通信vol.3
新宿高島屋のマリメッコフェア､見てきました｡うーん､イルムスとかのほうが充実？！という感じの品揃え｡残念(T-T)｡まぁ､仕方ないか｡｡｡
その代わりというのもなんですが、イルムス丸の内に行ってきたのでご報告。
9月17日に丸の内マイプラザ内にオープン。開店から1週間ですが、周りも含めてけっこう人が入っていました。この日は、銀座に用事があったので有楽町から歩いていきましたが、まわりのショップを見ながらブラブラ歩いて約5分。その後、東京駅に向かって歩いて5分と、どちらから行ってもさほど遠くない位置にあります。丸の内仲通り、ちょっとヨーロッパの香り漂うイメージに大変身してました。
さて、肝心のイルムスですが、1Fはテーブルウェア中心、2Fはファブリックとキッズ・バス用品など。家具はディスプレイ程度であんまり置いてなかったです。残念。でも、2Fのディスプレイが、かたやヤコブセン、もう一方がアアルトでまとめてトータル展開してあり、素敵でした。持って帰りたいくらい。家具やファブリックは、カタログを見てオーダーするって感じでしょうか。たしかに、そのままお持ち帰りする人なんて、きっとそうそういない。1・2Fあわせても池袋の1/2、もしかしたら1/3くらいだから仕方ないのでしょう。池袋も先日のリニューアルでボダムが大幅に減っていたけれど、丸の内に至ってはほとんどなかったような？！なぜか柳宗理があったけど。
特に買い物の予定はなかったのだけど、本を1冊購入。『北欧インテリア・デザイン』（平凡社）という本。北欧デザインについて、家具・テキスタイル・照明などその道の一人者の方々が執筆しているレクチャーブックなのですが、すごく面白い。実際にアルネ・ヤコブセンやオーレ・ヴァレンシアに師事した島崎信さんの話などはすごい！！の一言。いままでなんとなく知っていた北欧デザインについての知識が深まり、より一層好きになってしまいました。文章だけでなく写真なども豊富なので、読みやすくお勧めです。
この日は、他にビームスやスパイラルマーケットなどで北欧グッズを堪能してきたのですが、一番の収穫は東急東横線になりました。28日から始まるフィンランドカフェのポスター発見。これがまた超〜カワイイ。思わずダンナと持って帰りそうになりました（笑）。その衝動をググっとこらえ、写真を撮ってきたのでご覧ください♪
